Laurel Lake Creek Mud Spill: Susquehanna County, PA

An eyewitness covering this accident continues her report:  "Next day , I went to see more clean-up activity than ever and more mud oozing out and two containment pits-- and it's spreading over a 1/2 mile to the next creek-- they can't stop it so far-- it's powerful mud and a lot a pressure under the earth pushing this out-- the creek is all brown and muddy and it was pristine clear-- what a sad sight--"

This is so incredibly sad. Boy! Once the leakage of drilling mud starts, there is no going back. Containment simply is not humanly possible. It makes me wonder how the Glen is. Will any of our favorite spots be spared from this contamination? It's mind-boggling. Did you hear him say that the drilling had been stopped? And it STILL is coming up at an incredible rate and spreading quickly. Well, it USED to be a trout stream...

This is horrible, most definately sad. Is DEPA there or any goverment offical. the creek supports so many tribruatries. I never though I would live to see this destuction. Please keep posting the video's because we have no way of knowing, the news channels are not covering stuff that is important local. I will be passing your link on.
